Baby's Little
Log Book was created out of a new mother's need for just a little bit of order. "When I realized that
I couldn't remember if it had been 30 minutes or three hours since my son had eaten, I knew I needed to write things down,"
said Alexis Ahrens. She searched for a book that would easily organize her notes, but didn't find anything that met her
needs. So, she created Baby's Little Log Book and accidentally launched a new
career in publishing. A
former elementary school teacher, Alexis is now a write-at-home-mom and naptime entrepreneur, author of the blog, Taking the Lid Off the Sun, and founder of MOMentum, a mastermind group for entrepreneurial moms. In addition to her teaching career, she has worked in non-profit management, business
development, and as a dolphin trainer for inter-species communication research.
